TUPPERWAVE STACK COOKER CAKES!!

This, Ladies and Gentlemen, is Tupperware's Tupperwave Stack Cooker and it rocks! Not only is it in a gorgeous purple, it can cook an entire meal (i.e., salmon, green beans and rice) all at the same time. No messy pots and pans to clean, no heating the house up either! I made some corn bread in it the other night, but what I really want to tell you about are the cakes.
That's right, I baked cakes in the microwave today! Not rock hard cakes of death, but moist, tender cakes. Here, let me show you.....
This is the Strawberry Cake...and it IS moist. A box of yellow cake mix, a can of strawberry pie Filling (Yes, it exists. It's at Wal-Mart next to the more traditional cherry pie filling.), eggs, oil, 1 cup of water. It couldn't be easier. I served it to my family with Cool Whip and fresh strawberries and they raved. It took 12 minutes in the microwave and 15 minutes to cool in the cooker. I didn't heat the house up and everything was very easy to clean up! Love it!

Next I made a German Chocolate Cake. Because I know you all want to see every blessed step I took more pictures this time:

Here's the cooker, all lubed and sugared up, with the chocolate cake batter in it. With this cake recipe, you put the coconut and chocolate frosting in the bottom of the pan, then put the cake batter on top of it.

Here it is in my microwave, atop the inverted lid. Alright, not an exciting step, but you've gotta do it right or you'll end up with chocolate patio stones and not cake!

Here's the German Chocolate Cake in all it's gooey fabulousness. Everyone said it was moist, though next time I'll shave two minutes off the time to increase the deliciousness quotient.

So, let me reiterate: It's quick, it's easy, it's clean, it saves energy and time and your sanity. The cakes turned out moist and incredibly edible.

You can get the entire Tupperware Tupperwave Stack Cooker Set for hosting a Tupperware party. You can see the cake demo up close and personal. See? Now you don't have the excuse of not knowing what to serve your guests at your Tupperware party. Cake. Pure and simple and Tupperware.

  2. But what about cakes made from scratch? How long will it need to cook for a from scratch Angel food cake?

  3. Pour the cake mix in the ready pan then scoop the pecan coconut icing all around microwave. The icing sinks all the way thru

  4. I remember a recipe like this, but it seems that we didn't use oil, we used pudding to make it moist and dropped that in dollops in the batter and it sank to the bottom and became a gooey frosting for the top when done. Do you have that recipe? Thanks
